Secretary, General Inquiry Commission Election, (GEIC) 2013, Muhammad Hamid Ali, said on Saturday that the hearing of oral arguments of parties' counsel will commence from June 29. Earlier, a three-member GEIC bench led by Chief Justice Nasirul Mulk and comprising Justice Amir Hani Muslim and Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan recorded the testimonies of all the witnesses, after which the counsel for the parties have been asked to commence oral arguments.
Hamid Ali stated, "The GEIC will commence hearing of oral arguments by all the parties on June 29, 2015. at 9:30 AM, in Court Room No 1, Supreme Court Building, Islamabad". Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and other parties have already submitted formulations in the GEIC on June 24 whereas counsel for the PTI Abdul Hafeez Pirzada is expected to commence oral arguments in the case on June 29.
