The Muttahida Qaumi Movement's (MQM) Rabita committee said on Saturday that Tariq Mir's statement is a part of party's media trial. Reacting to the statement of Mir, MQM leaders said that the party is investigating into the issue. "MQM's legal team is in contact with British investigation organizations," it said. Earlier, Tariq Mir-one of the MQM leaders who is reported to have disclosed to British police the facts regarding 'Indian funding to MQM', said, "Altaf Hussain, Muhammed Anwar, Imran Farooq and I were well aware of Indian liaisons."
