Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) on Wednesday signed an agreement for co-ordination and to improve the air traffic transfer of control procedure with CAA China. According to details, a six-member high level delegation of Xinjiang Air Traffic Management Bureau (ATMB) of Civil Aviation Administration of China headed by the Deputy Director General of Xinjiang ATMB visited Pakistan from June 23 to 27. The delegation has visited PCAA Headquarters and Air Navigation Services (ANS) facilities at Karachi.
During visit at the PCAA Headquarters, the letter of agreement for co-ordination and air traffic transfer of control procedure to improve the safety of aircraft operation were signed between Pakistan CAA and CAA China. PCAA Director General Air Marshal Muhammad Yousuf (Retd) hosted a dinner in the honour of the delegation, during which he highlighted long friendship and co-operation between Pakistan-China Civil Aviations. Deputy DG CAA Xinjiang thanked the hospitality during stay in Pakistan. Both the Director Generals reiterated that the co-operation and co-ordination will continue to improve in future in the interest of flight safety and better facilities to air traffic.
