The construction work of one (Southern Parking Plaza) of the two parking plazas being built in Jinnah Super Market F-7 by the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has almost completed and will open for parking during next week.
According to the CDA official, the construction work of the parking plaza situated on Southern side of Jinnah Super had almost completed in record time while construction work on the parking plaza situated on the northern side was in progress with full pace and excavation and shuttering work on this site had already been completed.
The Parking plaza on the northern was in progress at a fast pace, he added. He said that construction work of parking plazas had been carried out at fast pace without compromising on quality of work. He said that more parking plazas would also be constructed in other Marakiz (Centers) of Islamabad to address the longstanding issue of parking in the city. He said that these parking plazas were being constructed on southern and northern sides of F-7 Markaz with an area of 4,200 and 3,307 square yards respectively.
Southern site would have parking capacity of 213 cars, while northern site would have parking capacity of 227 vehicles, the official added. He said both these parking plazas were being constructed at the cost of Rs 289.064 million.
