Department of Fisheries Punjab is organising a 'Fish Farmers Convention' at Fisheries Complex, Manawan Lahore on June 10. Minister for Forestry, Wildlife & Fisheries Malik Muhammad Asif Bhaa Awan will be the chief guest of the convention. The fish farmers from all over the Punjab and the officials of the department will attend the Convention.
Besides this the academia and other stakeholders will also participate. At the occasion several stalls of books, equipment's, fish seed/feed and ornamental fish relating to the field of fisheries & aquaculture will also be displayed. The convention will provide a unique opportunity to fish farmers and the officials of the department to sit together, discuss, understand and resolve the issues of fisheries sector in a well co-ordinated manner. Fish farmers from all over the Punjab are invited to attend the convention, said a spokesman of the fisheries department here on Friday.
