Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Mian Nawaz Sharif said Wednesday that brotherly and friendly ties between Pakistan and Turkey had been transformed into economic relations which will be further strengthened in time ahead. This was stated by him while talking to Turkish Ambassador in Pakistan Mustafa Babur Hizlan who called on him at his Raiwind residence on Wednesday.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on Pak-Turkey relations particularly in economic field, regional situation and other matters of mutual interest, sources said. The sources claimed that Nawaz appreciated Turkish co-operation for Metro Bus Project in Lahore besides various other projects.
