Indian province Bihar's Chief Minister Natish Kumar has said that the boundaries cannot become a hurdle in the relations of love, affection and culture between India and Pakistan. He expressed these views during his visit to Katas Raj Temple at Choa Saiden Shah on Wednesday. He also planted a sapling at Katas Raj Temple.
Later, Natish Kumar visited various sections of Katas Raj Temple and washed hands with the holy water of the pond and also went to Hanuman Temple. He also recorded his impressions in the visitors' book at Katas Raj Temple. The CM of Bihar thanked Punjab government for looking after and restoring the Hindu religious places in their original shape.
Earlier, in his welcome address, DCO Chakwal Ahmad Aziz Tarrar gave a briefing about Katas Raj Temple and said that on the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Punjab government was paying special attention to repair and restoration of Hindu religious places. He said that a water channel had been built for better supply of water to the sacred pool of Katas Raj Temple whereas Punjab Archaeology Department had done a lot of work for the restoration of historical places. He informed that the road leading to Katas Raj Temple was being made a dual carriageway and water supply scheme was in the final phases of completion.
Provincial Minister for Planning and Development and Hospitality Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor, Member National Assembly Chaudhry Ayaz Amir, Member Provincial Assembly Begum Iffat Liaqat, Chairperson District Social Welfare Board Chakwal Mehwish Sultana, DCO Chakwal Ahmad Aziz Tarrar, DPO Chakwal Kashif Mushtaq Kanjo, ADC Chakwal Saadat Hassan and members Indian delegation SMP Deno Kumari, Minister Sri Ashook Kumar Sinha, Chief Secretary Behar Sri Anjani Kumar Singh, Naushad Ahmad, Amir Subhani, Saleem Pervez and Sri M K Kumar Singh were present on the occasion.
