ISLAMABAD: The Special Committee on Affected Employees, Monday, reviewed the cases of the sacked/affected employees from related government entities and formulated its recommendations, accordingly.

The committee met under the chair of Member National Assembly (MNA) Qadir Khan Mandokhail from Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).

The committee examined the cases of the employees who were sacked/affected as a result of declaration of the Sacked Employees (Reinstatement) Act 2010 void by the Supreme Court.

Presently, the special panel is holding its meetings related to government departments/divisions/ministries and it would share its recommendations upon the completion of these meetings.

On Monday, the committee reviewed the cases of the affected employees of Information Ministry and Economic Affairs Division (EAD).

In the previous meeting, on Friday, the panel reviewed the cases of Intelligence Bureau (IB), the Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority (ERRA) and Ministry of Planning Development and Special Initiatives.

In its meeting scheduled today (Tuesday), the panel is taking up the cases of the employees of Cabinet Division, Ministry of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan (KA&GB) and Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (IT&T).
