LAHORE: A delegation of Pakistan Hitech Hybrid Seed Association led by its chairman Shahzad Ali Malik will meet Governor Punjab Baligh Ur Rehman on Wednesday to seek his intervention in seed regulatory compliance.

Talking to PHHSA executive committee members here on Monday, PHHSA Chairman said Governor is also chairman Provincial Seed Committee and is alive of the genuine problems being confronted by farmers, peasants and seed producers.

He said PHHSA will seek the intervention of the Governor with the federal food and security ministry to help hold the delegation of powers to provincial governments which already have full-fledged set-up.
