KARACHI: The founder and chairperson of BAZEECHA TRUST Iram Mumtaz, said that the time has come to give their own shelter to the girls who were made homeless by the earthquake of October 8, 2005, seventeen years ago. With the mutual efforts of everyone, today the girls of the non-profit organisation BAZEECHA TRUST are going to get their home.

The purpose of these all efforts is to make our girls confident, highlight their hidden skills, trying to make them fruitful citizen for their beloved country, always to support them to stand their own feet, so that they become a part of the development of the country and the nation. She said this while addressing the foundation stone ceremony of the new building of BAZEECHA TRUST.

In the foundation stone ceremony, Trustees of BAZEECHA TRUST, Dr Waqar, Amira Hayat, Dr Anjum, along with Directors Noshaba Waqar, Hina Qureshi, Rubina Amir, Maryam Nasir Barki, Azrah Durrani, Raheela Naveed, other branches of BAZEECHA TRUST, Health Services, Sunshine Home, MeraGhar, BAZEECHA TRUST Charity Drive and large number of teachers, girls and staff were present.

The ceremony started with the recitation of the Holy Quran and Naat Rasul-e-Maqbool (SAW), after which the National Anthem was presented. Later, the Founder and Chairperson of BAZEECHA TRUST, Iram Mumtaz, gave a brief introduction to the participants about the hard journey of BAZEECHA TRUST and said that the success of BAZEECHA is only due to the selfless and tireless efforts of my childhood friends and its reward goes to also specially to those of the positive thinking of these philanthropists, who show their confidence on BAZEECHA TRUST, and today we all managed to organise this memorial ceremony.
