LAHORE: The Punjab Bar Council's (PBC) legal education committee issued notices to law colleges and universities claiming for three years law course. The PBC also issued notice to five lawyers involved in the matter and suspended their practicing licenses also.

A number of students had complaint to PBC against such colleges and universities and prayed for actions against them in accordance with the law. The complaint stated that the Higher Education Commission had closed the three years LLB course but some law colleges and universities grabbed money from the students illegally.
