Ashraf Ansari who was expelled from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) last week called on Tuesday Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.

This will be his second meeting with the Punjab CM. Following his first meeting, the PML-N expelled him and four others for meeting Buzdar without the permission of the party leadership.

PML-N's Chaudhry Muhammad Younis Ansari was also in the meeting today. During the meeting, the issues of the people of Gujranwala were discussed along with other issues of mutual interest.

Condemning elements running a vicious campaign against the institutions, the CM said that those who speak against the institutions are not sincere with the country and its people.

"The chief minister is dedicated to serving the people. The members of the assembly are my partners. It is my responsibility to solve the problems of the elected representatives," the CM said.
