Imam Din Bhel alias Imam Bux Bizenjo father of Yaqub Bizenjo MNA, was nominated in murder case of DCO Gwadar Abdur Rehman Dashti here on Tuesday. According to DIG South Commander Shaukat, both victim and the accused person were friends and belonged to Turbat.
He said deceased used to meet him on his every visit to Karachi and added that the victim, who arrived in Karachi on last Monday for medical check-up and was staying in his brother's residence 90/30 located in Street No 27, Khyaban-e-Sehar, was approached by the accused person on phone. He further said the victim after medical check-up went to Imam's residence for meeting but later, he was found dead in a car (GR-002) parked near the accused house.
SP Tariq Dharejo said the DCO Gwadar Dashti was gunned down inside the house from where police recovered bullet shells and added that the accused Imam managed to flee while his two servants; a cook Yar Muhammad and a driver Rafiq Ahmad were also taken into custody for interrogation.
Moreover, he said the detained Yar Muhammad during initial course of investigation revealed that the accused Imam Bux after hot debate shot Dashti dead and directed them to leave his body in the car. He said the security at borders has also been beefed up to nab the accused person, who is still absconder till filing of this report. SHO Aamir Altaf said the case 46/12 was registered against Imam Bazenjo on the complaint of deceased's nephew Maqbool Hussain under section 302 of Pakistan Penal Code. They said the deceased arrived in Karachi to attend Anti Narcotics meeting.
