Habib Metropolitan Bank has deployed comprehensive web portal that encompasses all aspects of their consumer and corporate banking requirements. Keeping in view the growing number of threats to internet facing portals and services, the Bank's IT management has embarked on an ambitious project to minutely examine the current service architecture, applications and network design. The project consists of multiple phases and includes both internal and external penetration tests. Penetration testing is considered one of the most rigorous tests of an infrastructure's security and stability; and testing involves analysis of each access layer, network, system and application to assure the overall security in the application.
The project deputises Rewterz to analyse the current infrastructure of the Habib Metropolitan Bank and highlight segments that may be vulnerable to both internal and external threats and recommend effective mitigation techniques.-PR
