KARACHI: Memon Medical Institute Hospital and ORIX Leasing Pakistan Limited (OLP) entered into an agreement for "MMIH Health Card" program. The signing of the contract took place on Saturday, 7th April.
MMIH is a non-political body of philanthropists and professionals of the international Memon community that supports needy patients through a patient Welfare program. Its mission is to provide accessible and affordable quality healthcare and health education to all with empathy, dignity and respect, irrespective of their caste, creed, color, religion or ability to pay.
OLP owns and operates Pakistan's first and largest third-party transaction processing network. The ORIX Network provides support to various industry leaders for their debit, credit, loyalty, prepaid, discount, insurance and health card programs. OLP also received the Merit Award at the Asia Pacific ICT Award forum in 2011 for its innovative and state-of-the-art technology solutions.
The MMIH Health Card is being launched with the objective of channeling funds to needy patients in a seamless and convenient manner via electronic prepaid cards powered by the ORIX Network.
