The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) Tuesday named an 18-member squad for upcoming hockey series against Netherlands to be played in Qatar this month. Two matches will be played in Qatari capital of Doha between Pakistan and Holland on January 20 and 21.
The team was selected after conducting a trial in Sialkot. The team comprises of Nasir Ahmed, Zeeshan Ashraf, Suhail Abbas, Muhammad Imran, Muhammad Irfan, Waseem Ahmed, Muhammad Rashid, Sajjad Anwar, Muhammad Tausiq, Rehan Butt, Shakil Abbasi, Haseem Khan, Muhammad Zuber, Akhtar Ali, Waqas Sharif, Muhammad Rizwan, Umar Bhutta and Abbas Haider. The team will head to Qatar on January 17.
