Though electric cars are nothing new to us, technology has now moved on to electric, solar-powered motor-homes.

A German motor-home manufacturer, Dethleffs revealed their e-home concept. The RV is covered with 31 square meters of solar panels that generate electricity to fuel the vehicle’s electric power-train. Its 80-kilowatt electric motor can be paired with many battery choices.

The maximum range of the vehicle is around 280 kilometers without carrying any weight. However, a completely prepared e-home with weight would have a range of around 165 kilometers. The battery lasts for approximately 1,500 charges that can be around 250,000 kilometers before a replacement, reports Futurism.

The RV is completely furnished with all modern electric appliances, more than one sleeping area, a kitchen, a bathroom and much more.

It can support both level 2 and DC fast-charging. The solar panels provide additional 3 kilowatts of battery-charging electricity. By absorbing heat and releasing it throughout the day, the e-home enhances its efficiency. The vehicle is equipped with infra-red panels on the inside that gives a comfortable warm atmosphere, as per to Treehugger

However, this whole concept of Dethleffs e-home does not have any immediate plans to be put into production and go for sale. Here's how the caravan will look from the inside:
