KIEV: Ukrainian champions Shakhtar Donetsk won their eighth domestic Super Cup beating long-standing bitter rivals Dynamo Kiev 2-0 on Saturday.
Shakhtar, who are also Ukraine's cup holders, got off to a lively start clinching the lead through Argentine striker Facundo Ferreyra, who scored after being set up by Brazilian defender Ismaily.
Ferreyra made it a brace in the 56th minute, sending the ball into the net with a close range shot after being again set up by Ismaily.
