The Karachi Port handled 82,173 tonnes of cargo including 36,682 tonnes of import, 45,491 tonnes of export cargo and 3,769 loaded and empty containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours ended at 0700 hours on Thursday. The cargoes comprised of 60,581 tonnes of dry cargo including 52,215 tonnes of general cargo; 8,366 tonnes of cement and 21,592 tonnes of oil/liquid cargo.
Five ships namely Global Prosperity, Cape Negro, Harmony, APL Cairo and Banglar Mamata sailed out to sea during the reported period. Five vessels viz OEL Peace, Csav Longulmay, Orient Stride, Sinar Bintan and Salcaf are currently at the berths.
Three ships namely Csav Longulmay, Sinar Bintan and Robin expected to sail on Thursday while two ships namely Jiao Cheng and APL Pusan are expected to sail on Friday. Five vessels viz Lucky Man, APL Pusan, Kapitan Byankin, Medi Cork and Soraya due to arrive on Thursday while five ships namely Creek, Sp 5-Eric G Gibson, OEL Shreyas, Tower Bridge and Bolan are due to arrive on Friday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 60,539 tonnes including 42,884 tonnes of import, 17,655 tonnes of export cargo and 2,348 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours on Thursday. The cargo comprised of 4,069 tonnes of palm oil; 8,852 tonnes of chemicals; 9,653 tonnes of coke; 5,727 tonnes of cement and 32,238 tonnes of containerised cargo.
Four vessels viz MV Sinai, MT Bum Chin, MT Sinar Agra and CV ACX Dahlia sailed out to sea during last 24 hours while two more ships namely CV CMA CGM Kingston and MT Aktin are expected to sail on Thursday.
A total of nine ships namely KIA Waleed, Sea Sky, Southern Unicon, Venus, Yasa Ilhan, YM Cultivation, Bernice, Ataqa and Alexi-3 carrying containers, furnace oil, chemicals, iron ore, coal and cement respectively are currently at the outer anchorage.
Seven vessels viz CV ACX Dahlia, CV CMA CGM Kingston, MV Mustafa Bey, MV Santiago, MT Aktin, MT Sinar Agra and MV Jin Yuan are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, palm oil, chemicals and coke respectively during the report period.
Five ships namely CV KIA Waleed, MT Alexi-3, MT Southern Union, MT Sea Sky and MV Yasa Ilahan are expected to take berths at Qasim International Container Terminal, Multi Purpose Terminal, Engro Terminal, Fotco Terminal and IOC Berth respectively on Thursday.
Chemicals carrier MT Qem Star due to arrive on Thursday while four more ships namely CV APL Almandine, CV Sima Paya, MT Al-Salam-II and MT Al-Rafal carrying containers, diesel oil and carbon oil are due to arrive on Friday. Three more vessels viz Gama Tank, Eastern Tera and Belsize Park carrying diesel oil, MEG and phosphoric acid are also due to arrive.
