Man pictured fleeing London Bridge attack becomes an unlikely hero
During Saturday’s London Bridge attack, people were captured fleeing the scene. Among several men and women, a young man stood out for holding his nerves.
The picture showed the man walking down Borough High Street, calmly holding his pint of beer, while others rush past him.
The image which is a screen short of Sky News footage has been widely shared on social media, with people hailing him as the symbol of British humor and defiance in the face of terror.
Some people said the guy depicted the true spirit of London.
“People flee terrorist attack LIKE LONDONERS #LoveLondon”, said one Twitter user.

Some people joked that it was the only sensible thing to do considering the price of the drink in London.
Evacuate? Well, OK. But this beer cost £6 a pint. I'm taking it with me. #LondonBridge pic.twitter.com/luPkuZxin6

People have also mocked US media coverage of the attack, claiming London was "reeling" or "under siege" or being “surprisingly quiet”.
Woman on CNN talking about London's streets being eerily quiet. Mate, it's Sunday. They're not cowering in fear, they're having a lie in.

London has been hit hard with two terror attacks in last few days. London Bridge attack killed seven people and left 48 injured. Manchester Arena attack killed 22 people and 116 were injured.
However, Britons are not losing in the hands of extremists and showed resilience.
