The Karachi Port handled 183,581 tonnes cargo including 91,987 tonnes import, 91,549 tonnes export cargo and 4,084 containers (TEUs) during last 48 hours ending at 0700 hours on Friday.
The cargoes comprised of 166,222 tonnes dry cargo including 112,836 tonnes general cargo; 27,613 tonnes Coal; 742 tonnes Fertiliser; 10,786 tonnes Cement; 9,500 tonnes Clinker; 4,745 tonnes Rice and 17,359 tonnes oil/liquid cargo.
Thirteen ships namely Transport, PAC Antlia, APL Jeddah, Lucky Arrow, Soon Fu, APL Cairo, Ikan Jaura, Bruce Park, C Duke, Ninth Ocean, Kota Gunawan, Cap Colorado and Sari sailed out to sea during the report period. Sixteen vessels viz APL Cairo, Soon Fu, Orient Stride, Cap Colorado, Kota Gunawan, Ltc Calvin P. Titus, Fateh Al-Rahman, Ikan Jaura, Athanasios G Callitsis, Nikoloas P, Noor-e-Madina, Oriental Rose, Laftah, Sealo-1, Arabian Wind and Iran Faraz are currently at the berths.
Three ships namely Iran Faraz, Ltc Calvin P. Titus and Noor-e-Madina expected to sail on Friday, while three vessels viz Banglar Maya, Arabian Wind and Orient Stride are expected to sail on Saturday.
Ten vessels viz Sinar Agra, High Peace, Lalazar, Hanjin Chittagong, OEL Mumbai, OEL Trust, Kapitan Byankin, Cape Ann, Bulk Arrow and Golden Arrow II due to arrive on Friday, while two ships namely River Pride and Graft Summit are due to arrive on Saturday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 63,529 tonnes comprising 53,968 tonnes import and 9,561 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 1,384 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours on Friday.
The cargo comprised of 25,000 tonnes Furnace Oil; 2,101 tonnes MEG; 7,440 tonnes Paraxyline; 609 tonnes Cement; 9,857 tonnes Seeds and 18,522 tonnes containerised cargo. Four ships namely CV Al-Isha'a, MT Yanaseni, Grigoroussa-I and MT Sinar Agra sailed out to sea on Friday morning.
A total of eleven ships namely Sea Lion, Oram Agility, Maersk Novazzano, Venus, Transport, Al-Soor-II, Delight Victoria, Aktin, Tiran Island, Bernice and OXL Victory carrying Furnace Oil, Palm Oil, Containers, Coke, Palm Oil, Diesel Oil, Palm Oil, Cement and General Cargo respectively are currently at the outer anchorage.
Seven vessels viz CV Al-Isha'a, MT Leopard-B, MV Nova Noor, MV HS Acacia, MT Yanaseni, MT Grigoroussa-I and MT Sinar Agra are currently occupying berths to load/offload Containers, Cement, Seeds, Furnace Oil, Chemicals and Iron Ore respectively during last 24 hours.
Five ships namely CV Maersk Novazzano, CV Sima Pars, MT Sea Lion, MT Oram Agility and MV Venus are due to take berths at Containers Terminal, FOTCO Terminal, Multi Purpose Terminal and IOC Berth respectively on Friday. Three ships namely MT Doris, MT Helen and CV Lucien with Palm Oil and Containers due to arrive on Friday.
Eight vessels viz Kestrel-I, Chemstar Hero, Qem Star, Bengal, Sima Pars, Barcelona Bright, Nemtas and Nord Voyager carrying Wheat, Chemicals, Containers, Iron Ore, Coal and Palm Oil respectively are also due to arrive.
