CDGK prepares emergency rain plan

The Municipal Public Health Department of City District Government Karachi (CDGK) has prepared a rain emergency plan for the next monsoon. Under the plan, complaint centres will be set up in city's various areas, which will function round-the-clock and start operating with arrival of monsoon rains.
The malaria incharge and malaria supervisor at Municipal Public Health Office, KMC Old Building will work in co-ordination with malaria incharges and town administrations. The staff of CDGK health department will carry out spray while special staff will be deployed for brushing out rainwater from the roads.
