Former Pakistan captain turned commentator Ramiz Raja has picked up fellow World Cup winning skipper Imran Khan to lead his All Time XI.

“Imran Khan, I have got as an all-rounder, great athlete, I would have given him the captaincy” said Ramiz Raja. “I have played ten years under him and he was a great captain.”

The commentator picked up Indian legendry openers Virender Sehwag and Sunil Gavaskar, widely regarded as one of the greatest opening batsman in cricket history to fill the top slots.

“Very tight, very solid, over 10,000 Test match runs, and I have played against him (Gavaskar),” he said.

West Indies batting maestro Sir Vivian Richards was placed at the coveted third slot, described as the “greatest batsman of all time.”

Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar then followed whose “records speak for the genius that he was,” along with Brian Lara.

Sir Garfield Sobers, was picked for the all important all-rounder, called the “best all-rounder that ever lived”.

Adam Gilchrist would perform the wicket keeping duties, along with the “absolutely brilliant” Malcom Marshal, and Australian duo Glen McGrath and Shane Warne would form the indomitable bowling line.
