Pakistan Library Associatin would hold a two-day international conference on 'Emerging Paradigm in Librarianship: A Call for Innovation' on November 28-29 at Aiwan-e-Iqbal, Lahore.
The spokesman of the association, Ashraf Sharif, informed APP on Tuesday that senior experts of resource centre management would participate in the conference and share their experiences. The experts will also deliberate upon the emerging issues pertaining to the information boom to come up with scientific solutions for new problems.
Ashraf Sharif said that senior librarians from America, United Kingdom, Malaysia, Kuwait, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and India would attend the conference besides a host of Pakistani experts.
He said that the two-day moot would also provide an opportunity to the foreign and local delegates to buy and sell Library Science and Information Technology related products, as IT industry will set up stalls on the sidelines of the conference. Books exhibition would also be arranged on the occasion.
