imageBrazilian superstar and world football legend Ronaldinho is coming to Pakistan, the sportsman announced on Sunday.

In a video message shared to his official Twitter account Ronaldinho said: "Pakistan, I'm coming."

The 36-year-old, who was a pivotal member of the 2002 World Cup winning national team of Brazil, has achieved several feats during his illustrious career, particularly his club career with the likes of Barcelona and Paris-Saint Germain.

According to media reports, Ronaldinho is expected to play exhibition matches in Pakistan, which is part of Leisure Leagues Pakistans endeavor to promote football in the country.

Renowned for his technique, tricks, dribbling, overhead kicks, no-look passes and free kicks, Ronaldinho is regarded to be one of the best players of his generation. The sportsman has been awarded the FIFA World Player of the Year award in 2004 and 2005.

Football remains one of the most popular games in Pakistan, despite lack of attention the game enjoys a strong fan base particularly among the urban youth of the country.

Coming to the Leisure Leagues, which is a UK-based organization that holds five-a-side, six-a-side and seven-a-side leagues in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and USA. In 2017, the brand announced its plans to in Pakistan.
