The officials of the City District Government Lahore (CDGL) continued campaign against the violators of local body elections' code of conduct. The officials removed and confiscated over 445 election banners displayed in the areas of Township, Wahdat Road, Sabzazar, Multan Road, Bund Road, Ichhra, Pir Ghazi Road, Wassanpura, G T Road, Shadbagh, Shalamar Bagh and Aziz Bhatti Town.
The officials also washed the wall chalking in these areas. According to the CDGL spokesman, this campaign would continue till the holding of elections.
