College of Management Sciences, PAF-KIET and Business Solutions are jointly organising a two-day comprehensive workshop on "Practical Aspects and Applications of Islamic Banking Systems and Procedures" from Wednesday (August 3) at a local hotel.
Mujeeb Baig of Habib Bank A.G Zurich and Hassan Kaleem of Albaraka Islamic Bank will act as facilitators and exhaustively cover resource mobilisation and utilisation, foreign trade-related transactions, liquidity management and, product development systems and procedures of Islamic Banks and branches.
Special topics relating to accounting, tax and Zakat issues will also be covered. Shafqaat Ahmed, country head of Albaraka Islamic Bank, will preside the concluding ceremony.-PR
