With a view to redressing the increasing complaints of low voltage as well as power trippings, Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) has made a short-term plan to ensure smooth supply of electricity to its consumers.
A spokesman of Lesco said here on Friday, that increasing load had created problems for smooth supply of electricity. He said that a survey was being conducted by Lesco to access the immediate requirements of distribution and transmission network of Lesco.
He pointed out that according to the proposed short-term plan, during next two years, a number of new grid stations would be set up besides upgradation and extension of existing grid stations in problem areas. He said that Lesco had also planned to improve the quality of transmission lines.
