The Karachi Port handled 82,863 tonnes of cargo including 63,657 tonnes import and 19,206 tonnes export cargo including 1,774 containers during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Tuesday. The cargo comprised of 36,307 tonnes dry cargo including 30,534 tonnes general cargo; 3,800 rock phosphate; 1,973 tonnes fertiliser and 46,556 tonnes oil/Liquid cargo.
Three ships namely Hanjin Harmony, Darya Yog and Bao Heng Men sailed out to sea during the report period.
Five vessels viz Nefeli-1, Hanjin Busan, Manila Bay, Dina Queen and Bunga Cenerawasih are currently at the berths.
MV Nefeli-1 expected to sail on Tuesday, while two vessels viz Citius and Multan are expected to sail on Wednesday.
Four vessels viz Fu He, Eax Sanctity, Kota Teguh and Rickmers Mumbai due to arrive on Tuesday, while eight ships namely Celtic Terrier, Hyundai Future, YM Star, Thor Captain, Kota Wijaya, Maritime Skill, Ulysses II and Suez Express are due to arrive on Wednesday.
The cargo comprised of 4,967 tonnes diesel oil; 8,720 tonnes edible oil; 2,738 tonnes chemicals; 9,850 tonnes coal and 18,462 tonnes containerised cargo.
Two ships namely MSC Delia and MT Fotini Lady sailed out to sea during last 24 hours, while three more vessels viz MSC Briana, Marine Pioneer and Sinar Sabang are expected to sail on Tuesday.
Chemical carrier Anette Kosan is currently at the outer anchorage.
Two ships namely CV Merker Beach and MV Blue Dream due to take berths on Tuesday.
