HBL special counters for Haj applications

Habib Bank Limited will set up special counters at selected branches throughout the country to receive Haj applications-2006 with effect from July 20, 2005 under the government scheme, it was learnt on Friday.
Special helpdesks have also been set up within the Haj and Zakat department, OPSS Division, RBG at 6-Habib Bank Annexe, Hasrat Mohani Road, Karachi with a view to providing necessary information/guidance to intending pilgrims.
According to the Haj policy announced on July 12, 2005, out of the total number of 150,000, 90,000 under the government scheme and 60,000 under private scheme will perform Haj.
