The Canadian High Commission, Islamabad advised the Pakistani visitors or immigrants to consult the two websites in relation to visa applications for Canada. He said, "it has come to our notice that certain persons are indulged in internet fraud in the name of Canadian High Commission offering temporary and permanent visas for Canada". These individuals request fees ranging between US $300 to 6000 and remains unknown.
These immigration schemes are circulated via email SPAM or appear on the screen while searching the internet. These fraudulent emails and websites are characterised by poor English and request for fees payment in US dollars whereas all monetary transactions conducted by Canadian High Commission are in local currency.
These websites give job offers in so-called 'Canada Hotels', Omni Mont-Royal, in Senegal, Gambia, and in other African countries that offers a fictitious "Canada Health Certificate".
