Trade unions oppose public sector entities sell-off

Leading trade union federations of the country while opposing the privatisation of public sector organisations have said that it was totally against the national interest. All Pakistan Trade Unions Organisation Secretary General S.P. Lodhi, Banks Trade Union Alliance of Pakistan Convenor Habibuddin Junaidi, National Trade Unions Federation Pakistan Secretary General Saleem Raza, Abdul Ghafoor Baloch, Comrade Manzoor Razi, Shaikh Majeed, Latif Mughal, Manzoor Badayuni, Malik Rafiq, Arshad Mehmood and M.A.K. Azmati in a joint statement issued here on Tuesday said.
The monopoly of private sector is being established through the privatisation of public sector organisations. They said that the struggle of the PTCL employees has proved that the workers class has rejected the privatisation of public sector organisations.-PR
