Dr Masood Pervez, Manager, X-ray Crystallography Laboratory at University of Calgary, delivered a special lecture on the applications of X-rays crystallography. He highlighted in detail about the use of X-ray techniques in structure elucidation of the crystals, in designing pharmaceutical products of molecular modelling. Students and teachers from the departments of chemistry, physics and Centre for Advanced Studies in Physics (CASP) of GCU attended the lecture.
The Dean, Faculty of Science and Chairman, Chemistry Department Professor Dr Muhammad Akram Kashmiri also highlighted various aspects of modern crystallography.
