Former Lahore Township Industries Association (LTIA) chairman and LCCI Standing Committee on Labour Convener Tahir Javed Malik has been elected Secretary-General of the Pakistan-France Business Alliance (PFBA), while Shabbir Ahmad got the President's slot. The Alliance elections were held in its Karachi office, says a press release issued here on Monday.
Newly-elected PFBA Secretary-General Tahir Javed Malik has said that Pakistan-France Business Alliance is playing an important role not only in the promoting business activities between the two countries, but also safeguarding the interests of the business community.
He said due to the efforts of the Alliance, a high-level trade delegation from France is arriving in Pakistan this month to further strengthen the bilateral trade ties and the volume of business between the two sides.
