I feel great pleasure to bring you all, Textile Asia 2005 Exhibition, 2nd Textile and Garments Machinery Show encompassing an International Fashion Show to portray the rising image of Pakistan. The main idea is to promote and enhance our trade with the rest of the world while simultaneously promoting softer image of our country with fashion and culture.
We are looking forward to over USD 10 billion of exports of value added textile products and garments and to achieve this target, the Government of Pakistan anticipates over US$ 3 billion for import of textile machinery.
Events such as Textile Asia plays a vital role in portraying the immense potential that our country promises to all international and local stakeholders, allow us to put on display our finest products & services, improves the prevailing image of Pakistan and highlight the investment opportunities in the sector to allure attention of foreign and local investors.
I am thankful to all who have worked together to put up this great show particularly Ministry of Privatisation; E-commerce Gateway, Singapore and Export Promotion Bureau, as without them this endeavour would not have been successful. I wish Textile Asia great success!
