An accountability court on Saturday directed the Interior Ministry to put the name of federal minister Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat on Exit Control List. The court also directed to put the name of the co-accused in the reference against Faisal Saleh Hayat in the ECL. The court also reserved its verdict in an application filed by Faisal Saleh, praying to the court to exempt him from appearing before the court.
It may be mentioned that Faisal is abroad at present and Supreme Court of Pakistan has already cancelled his bail.
The accused has been facing the charges of obtaining loan from different financial institutions in 1990 in relaxation of rules and regulations.
He has also been facing the charges of being a willful defaulter of some financial institutions.
