Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WCCI) would play its role to resolve problems of the female entrepreneurs in order to help them enhance the productivity. "It is imperative to help women entrepreneurs in their endeavours and resolve their problems they are facing in their fields", said the President WCCI Samina Fazil, while addressing a reception, the chamber hosted in honour of Khurshid Tanveer, a lady industrialist from Japan Community.
The reception was largely attended by the female entrepreneurs. Samina Fazil reaffirmed the pledge to create role models for women entrepreneurs and encourage them to play their role for the economic stability of the country.
"Present Government under the dynamic leadership of President Musharraf is playing important role in empowerment of women on all levels with special stress on economic empowerment", she said adding that women are half of the total population of Pakistan and goals of economic stability would never attained until active involvement of women.
Khurshid Tanveer while speaking on the occasion called upon Pakistani female entrepreneurs to introduce their products in Japanese markets where they would get a good appreciation. Japanese markets have a lot of capacity to consume quality products from Pakistan, she added.
She praised the efforts being made by WCCI and said that women in Pakistan are now playing an effective part in economic activities which is a good omen and would help Pakistan to attain economic stability.
