The Government of Punjab, which is organising Cholistan Jeep Rally, has asked the interested people to get themselves registered with the Punjab Tourism Department by March 05. The Punjab Minister for Tourism Mian Aslam Iqbal said here on Thursday that the rally would help improve tourism in the country. After holding of international marathon in Lahore, the image of the country had significantly improved abroad.
He said the Punjab Chief Minister was showing keen interest in the uplift of the province as well as its people. He had directed the authorities concerned to make special arrangements for the foreign participants of the rally. He said the efforts were underway for live coverage of the rally.
