Fresh buying spree in hot favourites expanded the overall turnover of Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where bulls dominated the proceedings amid increase in index.
ISE network index showed an improvement of 195.10 points from 11,695.78 to 11,890.88 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 5,236,400 shares as compared to previous volume of 3,185,000 shares.
Total 126 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (108) closed in positive territory, 17 showed minus signs while one company remained pegged to its previous level.
The volume of OGDC was 3,275,000 shares as compared to previous turnover of 2,122,000 shares. The turnover of Fauji Fertiliser was 516,000 shares. The volume of Hub Power Company was 410,000 shares.
