The two-day joint workshop of Smeda and All Pakistan Commercial Exporters Association (APCEA) on export marketing of gems and jewellery products from Pakistan was concluded here on Thursday.
During the session of the workshop experts Amad Ahmad and Engineer Ghulam Rasool Sabir highlighted marketing of the precious stones in their lectures and said that gem sector in NWFP has great potential in the world market.
However, for better utilisation and promotion they called for paying proper attention to its marketing.
International consultant, Saeed Akhtar, who was chief guest in the concluding session gave special lecture and distributed certificates among 60 participants of the workshop.
Addressing the concluding session, Chairman APCEA, Jamal-ul-Hasnian said that the holding of such workshops and seminars would help increase the export of the precious stones.
General Manager, Smeda, NWFP Region, Sultan Tiwana announced holding of more such kind of seminars.
