The Punjab University College of Information Technology (PUCIT) has started taking students attendance on computers and also developed software for examinations and accounts.
Pucit Principal Dr M.A. Pasha stated this in a briefing to Punjab University (PU) Vice-Chancellor Arshad Mahmood during his visit to the college here on Thursday.
The principal told the VC that the college had introduced knowledge management system and developed a software house for the training of IT students.
The PU vice-chancellor visited the BSc (Hons) and MIT classes and enquired from the students about educational facilities available to them at the college.
He also visited the colleges of Pharmacy and Art and Design and the University Oriental College.
