Thrilling tunes blended with a balance of melody were the essence of Jazz Orchestra performed by the Turkish Navy Band, which is here to celebrate Pakistan Day.
Besides, the music evening organised by Turkish embassy also marked the 80th anniversary of the proclamation of the Turkish Republic.
The 19-member team of Jazz Orchestra played a range of tunes namely Tiger Rag, Bei Mir Bist Du Schon, A string of pearls, In the Mood, See you later alligator and Let's twist again to name a few.
Using trumpets, clarinets, saxophones and flute, the band presented a harmony of traditional music as well, the contemporary ones before the audience.
Dressed in navy's white uniform, the band members exquisitely played tunes of jazzy Anatolian crossovers and somewhere also mixed their vocals with the orchestral rhythmic compositions.
The band also played a popular Pakistani national song 'Jeevey Pakistan' and received great applause from the audience.
The diversity in tunes remained fixed the audience in their seats till the last item of the 90-minute Jazz Orchestral presentation.
