Ibad receives Vietnamese president at airport

President of Vietnam Tran Duc Luong arrived here on Thursday for a two-day visit to Karachi.
Governor of Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad received the distinguished guest at the Karachi Airport.
Vietnamese President is heading a 97-member delegation that includes ministers, officials and businessmen.
While talking to APP, the governor said, they would likely to explore investment opportunities. He said he would be having a detailed meeting with the distinguished guest on Friday.
The governor said in his informal talks with the Vietnamese President, he apprised the distinguished guest briefly of the Pakistan Steel Mills and the expansion that is being carried out, besides the capacity of the Karachi Port.
The governor would host a dinner for the Vietnamese President and members of his delegation at the Governor's House on Friday.
On Friday, the distinguished guest is scheduled to visit the mausoleum of the Father of the Nation to lay wreath and pay homage to Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. He will also visit the Karachi Shipyard and would also address the meeting of the Pakistan-Vietnam Business Council.
