Dutch airline KLM, about to be absorbed by Air France in a friendly merger, on Saturday denied that its plan to join the SkyTeam alliance had been delayed.
Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf reported on Saturday the delay was because the procedure was more complicated than first thought. "We always said we would join in the summer, and September is still the end of summer. There is no delay," spokesman Frank Houben said by telephone.
