The second round of crucial talks between Indian government and a faction of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) is likely to be held in Delhi on March 27.
The leadership of APHC faction led by Maulvi Abbas Ansari is expected to meet in Srinagar next week to decide whether to continue holding parleys with the Indian government in view of recent incidents of human rights violations by security forces of India in Occupied Kashmir.
Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani will be returning to the capital on March 26 after completing first phase of "Bharat Uday Yatra". The talks could be held the very next day before he moves to Gujarat for filing his nomination paper for forthcoming Lok Sabha polls.
Track-II diplomatic efforts were underway to clear the decks for holding of talks on March 27.
APHC leaders, have been expressing their serious concerns about violation of human rights in Held Kashmir valley.
The APHC meeting will discuss threadbare the latest situation in occupied Kashmir, with particular reference to gross violations of human rights. A decision on continuing the talks would be taken during the meeting.
The first path-breaking meeting between Advani and the Hurriyat Conference was held in Delhi on January 22, 2004.
