The Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan (Reap) has expressed deep felt condolence on the sad demise of the Federal Minister of Labour, Manpower and Overseas Pakistanis, Abdul Sattar Lalika.
Former reap Chairman Abdul Rahim Janoo said in a statement that the business community had lost such a leader in Sattar Lalika, who always acknowledged the vital role of the exporters, who contributed to the national economy, and patronised their activities.
He said that the late Lalika had consented to be the chief guest at a Reap ceremony, scheduled for February 20 in Karachi to award shields to the city journalists of print and electronic media for their support to the Reap in making strides in rice exports.
Janoo said that with the hard work and sincerity of purpose, Sattar Lalika had greatly promoted the overseas employment for Pakistani workers. He prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in peace.
