Two policemen and a pro-India politician have been killed in separate attacks in occupied Kashmir, a police spokesman said on Monday.
The spokesman said alleged freedom fighters gunned down Ghulam Mohammed, a senior activist of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, at a bus stop in occupied Srinagar on Monday morning.
A policeman who was guarding the bus stop, in Hyderpora suburb, was also killed and another critically wounded.
In a separate incident, a policeman was killed in an overnight attack on a police post in the village of Goshabugh, in northern Baramulla district, the spokesman said.
"The attack was launched by a group of heavily armed men on a police post that left a police constable dead," he said.
No group has claimed responsibility for the killing, but the area is the stronghold of Hizbul Mujahideen.
