The former chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Mirwaiz Omar Farooq, is trying to arrange a meeting of his associates with Pakistan's High Commissioner Aziz Ahmad Khan.
Sources said that during their meeting with the Iranian Ambassador the Ansari-led Hurriyat leaders asked the envoy to remove misunderstanding between them and the Pakistani government.
"The Hurriyat is also contemplating to make a courtesy call on the Pakistan ambassador, however, the spadework for that has been left to the Iranian ambassador," quoting the sources Greater Kashmir reported.
"Omar Farooq will make telephone call on Aziz Ahmed Khan for an audience in a next two days," said an insider.
