Quran Khawani and special prayers were held by the management of Pakistan Steel here on Monday in the mosques of Head Office and Steel Town for the departed soul of renowned parliamentarian and legendary politician Abdul Hameed Jatoi, father of Federal Minister for Industries & Production, Liaquat Ali Khan Jatoi.
A large number of officers and employees of Pakistan Steel were present in the Quran Khawani and prayers.
Earlier, Chairman Pakistan Steel Khursheed Anwar visited the residence of Federal Minister Liaquat Ali Jatoi at Betto Jatoi, District Dadu and offered his condolence to the minister and the bereaved family.
Khursheed Anwar also paid tributes to the services and contributions of late Hameed Jatoi in the movement of Pakistan.
Terming his death as a great national loss, the Chairman further said that late Hameed Jatoi was a man of principles who always believed in democratic values.-PR
