ISLAMABAD: Minister for Commerce Khurrum Dastagir has assured comfortable and conducive political and economic scenario for foreign investors and businessmen in the country.
While talking in Davos with a private news channel Monday, Minister said that the world leaders hoped to see a new and better Pakistan till the next World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting as a result of present government's sheer efforts to bring political and economic stability.
The 46th WEF summit was attended by over 40 heads of state and government and 2,500 leaders from business and society including Pakistan.
The Minister said that Prime Minister Nawaz Shariff during his meeting with world leaders at Davos convinced them to invest in Pakistan comfortably as they have overcome energy, power and gas crises.
Minister added that the good news about political stability in Pakistan is largely because of the successful ruling of the second largest party of Pakistan PML-N which is about to complete its term of rule.
